Hyde Park has changed a lot. New restaurants, people, stores, houses and condo's have all bought a new sense of community to this neighborhood. Hyde Park is a neighborhood of Boston. Located in the the Southern most section of the city. It borders Milton, Dedham, Canton, and The Blue Hills Reservation. The commuter rail stop is a two minute walk and puts you at Back Bay Station in 14 minutes. Many well known Bostonians live in Hyde Park and commute into town daily by car, train, or in Boston Mayor Tom Menino's case by bike, at least once a week!
The loft is adjacent to a well run Shaw's Supermarket. The first great restaurant, Annabelle's is a one minute walk. Also nearby is The Hyde, Brian Roskow's darling little brew pub, and Townsend's. Michael and Rosaleen Tallon of the legendary Kendall Cafe in Cambridge opened Townsend's several years ago and have made Hyde Park a dining destination for many! It is part of Legacy Place a huge outdoor mall complex that features such stores as LuLuLemon, Urban Outfitters, Free People and L.L. Bean. There is also an outstanding brand new movie theatre, a King's Bowling Bar and a bunch of great restaurants!

Hyde Park is fast becoming an arts mecca in Boston! The local arts associations are constantly doing shows, exhibits, concerts, theatre pieces. There is always something going on at Artists at Large and The Menino Arts Center. Our sister artists buildings at Westinghouse Plaza and 65 Sprague Street are also centers of open expression. The Open Studios Event held here each year is well attended. The location is outstanding for drawing visitors from in town and the suburbs!
